The trip is priced as a package, with no credits granted for unused services. Some tours, like the Inka Trail to Machupicchu, have a separate cancellation policy. In this scenario, the cancellation policy is in addition to the cancellation policy of Andean Ecotravel.

Andean Ecotravel will notify the client as soon as possible if the change is made later. Cancellations made by the Client as a result of this change are subject to the
provisions of paragraph 5 above. Andean Ecotravel shall not be liable for any damages originating from or in connection with such change, and the Client expressly waives the right to pursue such a claim against Andean Ecotravel.

8.- Changes by the client

Any modifications to the original reservation must be approved by the person who signed the reservation form. Any modifications to the itinerary made by the Client after receiving a confirmed travel program from Andean Ecotravel will be charged a change fee of US$35 plus any costs or charges incurred or levied by our suppliers as a result of the alteration. While every effort will be made to accommodate revisions and new requests, availability cannot be guaranteed. This sum does not apply to routes such as the Inca Trail, Salkantay, and any trip that includes the purchase of income to the Machupicchu Sanctuary, where the income is non-refundable; in this instance, the exchange penalty is US$ 80.00.

If the client violates this section or endangers the welfare of the group or individual clients, the tour guide or Andean Ecotravel agent may ask the client to leave the tour without refund.

10.- Illness or disability

Anyone suffering from an illness or handicap, or undergoing treatment for any physical or medical condition, must state the specific nature of their ailment at the time of booking and arrange for any medicine or other treatment that may be required during the tour. Failure to make such disclosure is a violation of these booking rules, and the person will be removed from the tour, with all fees paid forfeited.

If the trip involves a cruise, excursion, or boat/boat transfer of any type, the Client must notify the company at the time of booking if he or she is unable to swim. This will not preclude the Client from participating in the tour, but it will allow Andean
Ecotravel to take additional safety steps for the Client’s safety in a timely manner.
