TRIP ITINERARY

Begin your 3-Day, 2-Night Cusco Tour with a warm welcome at Cusco’s Alejandro Velasco Astete Airport, from where you will be transferred to your hotel. You will have some free time to acclimatize and explore the city’s historic center before starting your adventure.

In the afternoon, we will begin the Cusco City Tour, exploring the most emblematic sites of the ancient capital of the Inca Empire. At 2:00 p.m., we will depart from your hotel towards the Plaza de Armas and walk along an original Inca street until we reach the majestic Qoricancha or Temple of the Sun, the most important spiritual center of the Tawantinsuyo.

Next, we will continue to Sacsayhuamán, an impressive Inca fortress that stands out for its enormous, perfectly fitted stone blocks. We will then proceed to Q’enqo, known for its rock-carved altars, and later we will visit Puca Pucara, an ancient Inca military checkpoint. We will end the tour at Tambomachay, famous for its sacred water springs.

The day concludes with the return to Cusco around 6:30 p.m., where you can rest and prepare to continue your 3-Day, 2-Night Cusco Tour full of history and culture.
Overnight in Cusco.

At 5:00 a.m., we will pick you up from your accommodation to continue our Cusco 3-Day, 2-Night Tour. Very early, we will depart for the train station in Ollantaytambo. At 7:30 a.m., we will board the tourist train to the spectacular Machu Picchu natural reserve, declared a Wonder of the World in 2007.

During the journey, you will be able to appreciate the beauty of the Andean valleys and the daily life of the local communities. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, our guide will be waiting to accompany you to the bus station and together we will ascend to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu.

The bus ride takes approximately 25 minutes, with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Once at the citadel, you will be awestruck by this imposing archaeological site, a symbol of the Inca Empire. Our professional guide will provide you with a comprehensive guided tour, where you will learn about the history, architecture, and engineering that make Machu Picchu one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

After the tour, we will return by bus to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time for lunch and to explore the town. Finally, we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, and then our transportation will take you to your hotel in Cusco.

Overnight in Cusco.

On the last day of our 3-day, 2-night Cusco tour, you’ll have free time to enjoy the city at your own pace. You can stroll through the charming colonial streets, visit museums, sample the local cuisine, or shop for souvenirs and typical Cusco handicrafts.

At the scheduled time, depending on your flight time, our team will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you promptly to the Cusco airport.

What is included?

  • Transfer IN and OUT:
    Our properly uniformed staff will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the hotel. At the end of the excursions, he will also pick you up and take you to the airport.

  • Cusco City tour:

    Pick up from the hotel and transfer to the train station (located in Cusco’s Historic Center). After the tour, we will return you to your accommodation in Cusco.
  • Touristics Train service:
    Train tickets Expedition or Voyager Service (both offer high quality service). It is possible to upgrade to the Panoramic Vistadome Observatory train service for an additional fee of US$ 75.00 per way; alternatively, you can upgrade only one way.
  • Entry to Machu Picchu Archaeological Site (Circuit 2):
    As soon as we get your complete information and the payment required to book your reservation, we will purchase all necessary permits. These permits are granted on a certain date and will be in your name. They cannot be altered under any circumstances. Changes to passport numbers are only permitted for renewal reasons. In that scenario, bring both your old and new passports.
  • Experienced and profesional tour guides:

If necessary, we will promptly evacuate you from the path and transport you to a clinic for treatment.
