TRIP ITINERARY

The Half-Day Cusco City Tour begins at 2:00 PM, when our guide will pick you up in your hotel lobby. From there, we will begin by exploring the Plaza de Armas of Cusco, the historical heart of the city, and then continue walking along an Inca street towards the imposing Qoricancha or Temple of the Sun, one of the most sacred temples of the Inca Empire. Here you can appreciate the fusion of Inca and colonial architecture, as well as its famous bronze main altar.

Next, we will travel by bus along Avenida El Sol towards the outskirts of the city, where we will visit the main Inca archaeological sites:

  • Sacsayhuamán, an impressive fortress with enormous stone walls weighing up to 200 tons.
  • Q’enqo, known for its rock-carved altars and its spiritual connection to the Andean worldview.
  • Puca Pucara, an ancient circular military construction that served as a checkpoint.
  • Tambomachay, a beautiful water temple where you can see natural springs used by the Incas for rituals and ceremonial baths.

At the end, we will return to Cusco, concluding the tour at the Plaza de Armas around 6:30 p.m. (or directly at your hotel if you chose the private tour).
Discover the living history of the Tour A half-day tour of the city of Cusco, a cultural experience that combines Inca grandeur with the colonial legacy in a single tour.
