The 4-Day, 3-Night Cusco Ancestral Package includes transfers, a Cusco City Tour, a Sacred Valley Tour, and a visit to Machu Picchu.
This program is designed for those who wish to explore the capital of the ancient Inca Empire and its ancestral legacy in depth. Enjoy free time strolling through the colonial streets of Cusco, admiring its architecture, culture, and living traditions. TRIP ITINERARY

When you begin the 4-Day, 3-Night Cusco Ancestral Package, we will meet you at Alejandro Velasco Astete Airport in Cusco and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. You will have free time to acclimatize and explore the historic center before starting your excursions.

Afternoon Cusco City Tour
At 2:00 p.m., our guide will pick you up in the hotel lobby to begin the tour. We’ll begin at the Plaza de Armas and walk along an ancient Inca street towards the Qoricancha, or Temple of the Sun, one of the most sacred sites of the Inca Empire. There you can appreciate the contrast between Inca and colonial architecture, as well as see its main bronze altar.

Next, we’ll board our transport to Sacsayhuamán, a majestic ceremonial complex located 25 minutes from the city. Considered the “House of the Sun of Hanan Cusco,” it was built during the reign of Inca Pachacuti and continued by his successors.

We will continue to Q’enqo to admire its ancient altars carved into the rock, and then we will visit Puca Pucara, a circular Inca military site. Finally, we will arrive at Tambomachay, known as the Temple of Water, famous for its fountains used for rituals and ceremonial baths.

At the end of the tour, we will return to Cusco, where the tour will conclude at the Plaza de Armas (or directly at your hotel if it is a private tour).

Continuing with the Cusco Ancestral Package 4 days 3 nights, we will start the day early, between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m., coordinating the pick-up with our guide. We will depart for Chinchero, where we will visit its impressive archaeological complex and the Andean Textile Centers, renowned for their workshops of traditional weavings made with alpaca and llama fibers.

Next, we will head to the picturesque district of Maras to explore the famous Maras Salt Mines, a network of more than 3,000 salt pans that have been in operation since Inca times. Enjoy a guided tour with time to take photos of this stunning white landscape.

Our next stop will be Moray, the ancient Inca agricultural laboratory, where we’ll learn how the Incas developed different microclimates to experiment with crops. After the visit, we will travel to Urubamba to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch with vegetarian and vegan options available.

Afterwards, we will head to Ollantaytambo, a jewel of the Sacred Valley that preserves its original Inca layout. There we will explore the Ollantaytambo Archaeological Site, famous for the Temple of the Sun and the sculptures carved into the mountains representing the god Tunupa.

At the end of the tour, we will transfer you to the train station in Ollantaytambo to board the tourist train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo), departing at 3:30 p.m. or 4:36 p.m. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, and upon arrival, our staff will meet you and escort you to your hotel.

Continuing with our Ancestral Cusco Package 4 days 3 nights, today we will experience one of the most anticipated moments of the trip: the visit to Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World and UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We will wake up early to enjoy the magic of sunrise at the citadel. At 6:00 a.m., we will board the bus from Aguas Calientes to the entrance of the archaeological site, avoiding the crowds and enjoying the golden morning light on the majestic Andean mountains.

Once inside, we will take a guided tour of approximately two hours to explore the highlights of the ancient Inca City: temples, dwellings, agricultural terraces, and water channels that demonstrate the advanced engineering of the Incas. The guide will explain the mysteries of this monumental construction, built without iron or steel, but with admirable precision that has defied the passage of time.

After the guided tour, you will have the option to ascend Huayna Picchu Mountain (2,720 m) or Machu Picchu Mountain (3,000 m), from where you will enjoy an unparalleled panoramic view of the citadel. (These tickets must be booked in advance.)

After this unforgettable experience, we will return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and rest before boarding the train back to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, our private transportation will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cusco.

On the last day of our 4 days 3 nights Cusco Ancestral Package, you will have free time to enjoy the magical city of Cusco at your own pace. You can stroll through its colonial streets, visit museums, sample the local cuisine, or purchase souvenirs and traditional handicrafts.
At the scheduled time, according to your flight timetable, our team will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport, thus concluding an unforgettable experience in the land of the Incas.

Huayna Picchu Mountain

You can climb the famous peak that appears in photos behind the historic ruins of Machupicchu. It’s a 45-minute hike, and the descent could be scary if you’re terrified of heights. You can take this trip once your guided tour of Machupicchu has concluded. Due to strong demand, permits must be issued at least one month in advance. Consider making alterations to retain your integrity, particularly due to weather circumstances.
The ticket for Huayna Picchu Mountain has an extra cost of US$ 75.00 per person.

Machu Picchu Mountain
Elevation: 3,000 m / 9,843 ft (3 – 4 hours)
Machupicchu Mountain is one of the mountains that surround the ancient city of Machupicchu. The pathways are less steep, wider, and visually less threatening than those at Huayna Picchu, and the ascent to the peak takes 1.5 hours. This walk necessitates an admission ticket, which we may arrange for you if we have enough time in advance.
The ticket for Machu Picchu Mountain has an extra cost of US$ 75.00 per person.

Entry to Machu Picchu Inka Site (Circuit 2): As soon as we get your complete information and the payment required to book your reservation, we will purchase all necessary permits. These permits are granted on a certain date and will be in your name. They cannot be altered under any circumstances. Changes to passport numbers are only permitted for renewal reasons. In that scenario, bring both your old and new passports.
